Presented by Lou Greenstein
Culinary historian, food designer, and former TV chef for Boston’s Good Day Show Lou Greenstein will show us how to create holiday-inspired edible centerpieces using carved vegetables and fruits.
Lou’s 42-year career in food service started in the test kitchen and classrooms at UMass, where he studied restaurant management. He went on to direct food service at Southern New Hampshire University, was an area director for a national catering company, and has managed hotels, country clubs, and restaurants.
His media experience includes TV chef, author, and columnist. Lou was a regular on Boston’s Good Day Show for 14 years, has written about food for The Boston Globe and Bon Appétit, and has authored two books, The Mystic Seaport Bakery Recipe Sampler and À La Carte: A Tour of Dining History.
Following the program, Lou’s edible creations will be raffled off!

Daytime meetings are held at the Messiah Lutheran Church, 303 Route 101, Amherst, NH.
Meetings begin at 9:00 a.m. with social time, followed by a business meeting at 9:15 a.m. Following the business meeting, there is a short refreshment break. The program/speaker begins at 10:30 a.m. and goes until 11:30 a.m.
Guests are welcome to attend the business meeting as well as the program at no fee.
