The Amherst Garden Club’s first evening meeting of the spring is Thurs., Mar 1, at Parkhurst Place (11 Veterans Road, Amherst) 7:00-8:30 pm.
Amherst resident and adventurer Steve Farrar will take us on a whirlwind pictorial tour of plant life in our national parks, making the case that “plants” should be right up there with waterfalls and majestic rock formations on the list of “Why we visit our national parks.”
Steve’s passion for our parks is infectious, so come prepared to be inspired and bring your vacation planner!
