New Home for Amherst Garden Club:

The Amherst Garden Club will be welcoming area gardeners to their monthly meetings at a new location this year. They will meet at the Messiah Lutheran Church on 101 in Amherst. The entrance is the drive way just before The Amherst Garden Center. Here board members Dawn Burke, Pres. Trese Gilligan, Jane McOsker and Joan Poltack are ready to welcome all to the first meeting Thursday, Sept. 5 at 9am. The program, Gardening for the Spirit, with lecturer Cheryl Collins, will start at 10:30 and is open to the public.
