Invitation from Nashua Garden Club — Daylilies

The Nashua Garden Club invites us to a program about Daylilies presented by Carl Harmon of Harmon Hill Farm in Hudson.

Wed., September 4th at 7:00 pm
First Baptist Church
121 Manchester Street, Nashua

Carl Harmon is an active member of the American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) and past president of the New England Daylily Society. Since it’s founding in 1998, Harmon Hill has grown to contain over 4,200 varieties of daylilies and is now one of the largest selections of daylilies in the world! Carl and team have expanded the business to include approximately 100 varieties each of iris, liliums and hostas. The farm has been proudly voted “Best Flower Farm in New Hampshire” by Yankee Magazine and selected to be an official AHS Display Garden.

Join Garden Club members for an informative evening to hear Carl passionately discuss the wide variety of daylilies suited to New Hampshire from old favorites to new introductions from Northern and Region 4 hybridizers and as well as many from the Southern Region which have turned out to be hardy here in NH. Learn how Carl and his co-founder, Marlene Harmon, established this destination garden located in near-by Hudson NH.

All are welcome. Light refreshment will be served. Members: Free
Nonmembers: $5.00 Additional information can be found at: http://www.NashuaNHGardenClub.org
