The Nashua Garden Club has invited us to attend their next program, Wed., Nov. 1st at 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 121 Manchester Street, Nashua.
Creative Container Gardens will be presented by Deanne Fortnam, Master Decorative Artist and popular horticulturalist, author, and teacher. Deanne is particularly known in gardening circles through her articles for Fine Gardening Magazine as well as many publications in the Decorative Artist’s field. Her gardens have also been featured on NECN’s Dream House and WCVB’s New England Chronicle.
Deanne joined the Society of Decorative Painters in 1983 and was awarded their prestigious Master Decorative Artist certification, in 1991. Combining her passions, Deanne treats her gardens like a canvas and considers the color and texture of the plants to be her ‘pigments’.
Whether your garden consists of many acres or a cozy, compact deck, you will be certain to learn much and get many tips from this program. Please join members of the garden club at this entertaining program to pick up ideas about container gardening.
All are welcome. Light refreshment will be served.
