The Amherst Garden Club meets tomorrow, Thu., May 4, with day and evening programs:
— 9:00 a.m. (Messiah Lutheran Church) Author and herb expert Norma Weinberg will present “Herb Gardening Through a Sustainable Lens.”
— 7:00 p.m. (Parkhurst Place) Master Gardener and Marine Docent Marie Nickerson will share what she describes as “the opportunity of a lifetime” — her role as Steward of Celia Thaxter’s Garden on Appledore Island, Isles of Shoals.
Both programs are free with light refreshments.
