The Amherst Garden Club’s January meeting is Thurs., January 5 at the Messiah Lutheran Church (303 Route 101, Amherst, NH) 9:00-11:30 am. The program will be “The Secrets of Color,” presented by Master Gardener and artist Mary Salmon. Mary will talk about and illustrate through her photos how color appears and can be manipulated in the outside world. Come find out why certain color combinations in our gardens draw our attention more than others. Open to the public at no fee. (Note: There is NO EVENING program in January.)
