“Fall into the Holidays” presented by Bert Ford — Bert Ford is one of New England’s leading floral design professionals. His high-energy demonstration creates before your eyes various tablescapes/centerpieces, décor for your doors, mantels and more, just in time for the holidays. The arrangements created will be raffled at the end of the program.

Press Release: The Amherst Garden Club will welcome Bert Ford of Ford Flower Company of Salem, NH to its morning meeting. Bert delights in creating unique designs that incorporate nature, art and modern trends. His high energy demonstration will use botanicals, mixed foliage and home décor accessories to create vibrant holiday centerpieces that will enhance any table or home environment.

Bert is one of New England’s leading floral design professionals, having been inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) in 2001 and into the Professional Floral Communications International (PFCI) in September, 2010. He presented the opening program at the American Institute of Floral Designers international symposium in July, 2010. Bert has served as president of Teleflora’s New Hampshire-Vermont Unit. As a member of Teleflora’s prestigious team of Education Specialists, he has presented design programs and participated on design panels throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. He also taught classes featuring trend setting floral designs for weddings, sympathy and everyday at Teleflora’s Education Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

Bert’s work has been featured in floral selection guides and publications including articles and covers in “Flowers &” magazine. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a plant science degree and is the owner/operator of Ford Flower Company, Salem, NH.
